I’ve been working on a hush-hush “secret” project for over 18 months now … and it’s about to go public.

I hope you go and take a look – there are plenty of free hot yoga resources AND an amazing forum where highly technical yoga questions are answered – usually in a matter of hours.

Personally I don’t believe in using the domain hosting services provided by my web host.

They are usually more expensive;

They are usually not very well-specified when it comes to functionality;

If your web host has any issues (this has happened 3 times to me with 3 different hosts) then you can simply point your domain to different nameservers at a new host withing minutes.

Who do I recommend?

I use http://www.fxdomains.com/ – they are a GoDaddy reseller, so you get the useful management functions of GoDaddy – but i find they have consistently cheaper deals.

Oh – if you want to play around with domains and get some inspiration?

Try http://www.nameboy.com/ for some name-spinning – and also http://domain-suggestions.domaintools.com/

Why?

Because I see attendees enjoy their experimnece immensely, no matter their “type”.

Actually running some tests with advertising in some well-known self-help ezines.

The list sizes vary, from 100,000 to 250,000 and so far I have to say the results are a little disappointing.

Later this week I’ll be testing a solo mailer to 100,000+, so we’ll see just how that goes!
